    The powerful new brand identity and sales collateral we created enabled BioGlobe to secure a government-funded global research initiative.

THE CLIENT'S CHALLENGE

The Blue Planet Expedition required a brand identity capable of communicating the ambition, credibility and global significance of a government-funded scientific mission focused on the future of the world’s oceans. The existing brand lacked the scale and presence needed to reflect the pioneering nature of the project and its long-term environmental impact.

The challenge was to create a visual identity that could resonate across multiple audiences — from investors, research partners and government stakeholders to environmental organisations and the wider public — while positioning the expedition as both scientifically authoritative and visually compelling.

To establish a clear creative direction, we undertook extensive research into the expedition’s objectives, target audiences and wider competitive landscape. This included analysing how major scientific and environmental initiatives communicate complex ideas in a way that remains accessible, engaging and inspirational.

The final identity system was designed to reflect the sheer scale, depth and importance of the expedition. At the centre of the project was a bold and contemporary logo inspired by oceanic movement, global connectivity and marine ecosystems, creating an identity that feels both premium and purpose-driven.
